Earlier this spring, our 14th Annual Day of Golf for First United was rescheduled to September 13, 2021.  If you are not already registered to play and would like to join us we are maintaining a waitlist. Please contact events@firstunited.ca to add your name.

The provincial government’s recently announced phased withdrawal of COVID-19 restrictions is looking positive for our Day of Golf! We are keeping in close contact with the UBC Golf Club regarding changes in regulations and will keep your updated as we get closer to Sept 13.

The 14th Annual First United Day of Golf is back!

After having to cancel the 2020 tournament due to COVID-19, we’re thrilled to be able to host a modified and safe day of golf to support First United in 2021. Rather than a traditional tournament, we’re pleased to organize a day of golf in support of First United! Our golf community is made up of dedicated individuals and businesses, and we’re thrilled have a fun day in support of First United’s work, the Downtown Eastside, and those who call it home.

The Annual Golf Tournament is a fundraising event in support of First United Church Community Ministry Society. Funds raised will go towards our work providing survival-supports, advocacy, and sanctuary in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Our goal is to raise $125,000 in order to continue providing services and programs that our community members rely on every day.

Event Details

Rescheduled Date: Monday, September 13, 2021

Where: University Golf Club, Vancouver

Time: Tee times from 10:00 am-2:00 pm

Registration Fee: $250 per person (with partial charitable tax receipt to be issued)
Space is limited due to COVID-19 considerations; register early to ensure your tee time!

Your registration fee includes:

• Green fees and a sleeve of balls
• Power cart (walking can be accommodated by choice)
• $50 gift card to UBC Golf Course (can be used at course restaurant)
• Partial charitable tax receipt (to be determined)

In order to keep our community safe and abide by all BC Public Health Orders, the day of golf in support of First United will be organized by tee times rather than a shotgun start. Due to this change, space is limited. Register early to secure your preferred tee time!

If you’re unable to attend this year but would still like to support the 14th Annual Golf Tournament, you can donate through our secure online form, receive a full charitable tax receipt*, and help us reach our goal.
